Join the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs and the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy as it hosts the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Christopher Landau. Ambassador Landau will discuss The paths of Mexico's development and the challenges it faces, including the spread of Covid-19, as it continues to develop.

Christopher Landau has served as United States Ambassador to Mexico since August 2019.

He was born in Madrid, Spain, and speaks fluent Spanish.  He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College in 1985, where he earned a Certificate in Latin American Studies.  He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1989, and thereafter clerked for Associate Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas of the United States Supreme Court.

Landau practiced law in Washington, DC, for thirty years.  He has argued nine cases in the U.S. Supreme Court and has briefed and argued appeals in all of the U.S. Courts of Appeals.
