There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Students can enjoy Georgia Tech ensembles, tickets to the High Museum of Art, tickets to either the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concert or the Alliance Theatre, refreshments and mingling with Alliance actors and Symphony musicians — all free of charge! Come out and enjoy all the the Woodruff has to offer. Free Stinger buses will pick up students at the Student Center.
Schedule for the evening:
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Visit the High Museum of Art and see special exhibitions “Toulouse-Lautrec & Friends,” “Fifty Works for Fifty States: The Vogel Collection” and “Cartier-Bresson: The Modern Century.”
5 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Enjoy featured Georgia Tech groups and ensembles in the Galleria, as well as complimentary refreshments in Centerspace. Pick up tickets for the next part of the evening in Centerspace on the first floor of the Memorial Arts Building.
8 p.m. — Choose tickets to either the Alliance Theatre’s “Carapace” or the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s “Liszt & Beethoven.” Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wanted: Student stationary art for display at the Woodruff Arts Center during the evening! Please contact Kaitlyn Whiteside if you have art you would like to display. Artists will be responsible for transporting pieces to and from Woodruff.
