Join us on October 22nd for a #SMARTer Together webinar on Community and Economic Development for smaller communities. Nancey Green Leigh, Professor in the School of City & Regional Planning and Associate Dean for Research for the College of Design at Georgia Tech will discuss her research in this area. She will be joined by Julia Wood, Vice President of Development and Donor Services for the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, and Alyssa Justice, Senior Community Development Policy Analyst for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. Discussion will focus on the economic development profile of the City of Douglas, GA and experiences and lessons learned that might be applicable for other similar communities.
