There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

This class is a beginner workshop that will cover everything you need to get started in Adobe Animate. Animate, previously Flash, is a 2D animation program that can be used for a variety of applications. In this class, we will learn the Animate interface, basic animation techniques and terminology like the timeline and inbetweens, practice both frame-by-frame hand drawn animation as well as vector animation, and using assets and file types to fit different uses.
Please attend the class with Adobe Animate already installed on your computer. If you don’t have the software, you can sign up for a free Creative Cloud trial on Adobe.com, or use the Georgia Tech VLab to access the software remotely: https://it.iac.gatech.edu/services/vlab
This class is virtual and will be hosted on BlueJeans. Please use the following link to access the class at least 5 minutes before the starting time: https://bluejeans.com/2833114934/
