There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This class is for those who know the basics of Autodesk Maya and are ready for more advanced techniques. In this class, we will cover how to create more complicated models and textures through tools such as setting up references, molding objects with soft selection, combining and modifying objects, UV unwrapping, and creating custom materials. This class only required knowing the basic interface of Maya and basic modeling techniques.

Please attend the class with Autodesk Maya already installed on your computer. You can access a free student license here by selecting Maya and creating an Autodesk account.
