There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. From October 12-18, a virtual exhibition will be accessible in order to present excerpts of works and tools that heavily rely on artificial intelligence techniques and that question the relationship between human and machines. The exhibition includes works by such artists and researchers as Daniele Ghisi (composer), Jérôme Nika and Gérard Assayag (researchers, IRCAM), Jason Freeman (Georgia Tech), Carmine Emanuele Cella (professor and composer, CNMAT – CU Berkeley), Alex Ruthman (professor, New York University).
