No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Georgia Tech Research and Innovation Conference (GTRIC) convenes hundreds of graduate students annually to present their research to the Tech community. The event gives graduate students the opportunity to compete for monetary prizes for their research, in order to fund continued research or travel expenses for students to continue to make presentations across the country.
This year’s conference will award nearly $80,000 in prizes, including the Georgia Tech Edison Prize, a $15,000 award that goes to the winner of the event's Innovation Competition.
