School Chair Laura Taylor will join panelists Ambassador Marcel Beukeboom of the Netherlands, Shelby Buso, Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Atlanta, and Mirgana Spoljaric Egger of the United Nations Development Programme to discuss COVID19 and green recovery at the Global Climate Action Symposium on October 6-8.

The second annual Global Climate Action Symposium brings together local and international scientists, engineers, business and policy experts, student leaders, and artists to showcase climate change solutions. The virtual event is jointly sponsored by Georgia Tech and six European consulates during European Climate Diplomacy Week. President Ángel Cabrera will deliver opening remarks.

The event is virtual this year. Registration is free and open to the public.
