Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) events at Georgia Tech celebrate and recognize the economic, scientific, cultural, and social contributions of Latinos in the United States. OHI advises a student committee to coordinate efforts with several Hispanic/Latino student organizations in organizing the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration from mid-September to mid-October.
Georgia Tech's 2020 HHM theme is "Hispanics: Embrace Your Past, Shape the Future."
Students will display their love for soccer by participating in this friendly competition of FIFA World Cup. Teams of 1-2 students will represent different countries. Safety protocols will be enforced inside the venue, including admittance limited to players and a few fans, social distancing, and masking. Limited spots are available.
Prizes: First-place team: FIFA 21. Second and third-place teams: GT sweaters.
