There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Global Research and Internship Expo will be held virtually from October 12-16th. The virtual expo will feature different international employers doing info sessions for students looking to do research or intern abroad, as well as walk-in virtual advising and two GRIP alumni student panels. All of the content will also be recorded and can be accessed on the Education Abroad Canvas Page.
For any students looking to intern or do research during their time at Tech this is a great opportunity to learn about the possibilities of interning abroad! Many of these opportunities are for undergraduate students with a few sessions also highlighting graduate level internships.
For IAC Majors:
On Monday at 11am, ISA internships in New Zealand will be highlighting INTA internships and On Thursday at 4pm there is an Alumni student panel featuring some Ivan Allen students that have interned abroad
There will also be two sessions on how to prepare for Interning in Japan (Thursday at 2pm) and Germany (Friday at 9am).
The following sessions recruit interns from all majors:
Learn International internships in Europe- Tuesday at 11am
ThinkSwiss in Switzerland- Wednesday at 10am
Cultural Vistas in Germany- Wednesday at 2pm
