Georgia Tech's Career Discovery in Architecture summer program is a two-week daytime program offering high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore principles of design and the practice of architecture with faculty members and professional architects. Professor Charles Rudolph leads this broad and engaging curriculum that reflects his passion for and knowledge of architecture and his love of teaching. The program of study includes:
The drawings and documents produced during the Career Discovery classes also can be included in the participants’ college admission portfolios.
Visit Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics & Computing (CEISMC) to apply. The cost of the two-week program will be $600.00 plus a non-refundable application fee of $15.00. Each student will receive two-weeks of programming; a t-shirt; an $8.00 credit for lunch each day at the Georgia Tech student center; and constant supervision.
