Bicycle Safety Improvements at 6th St & Ferst Dr to begin 9/21

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Starting 9/21, the 6th Street & Ferst Drive Bike Safety Improvements project will begin and span an 8-week period.

The east side of Ferst Drive pedestrian and bike path will be diverted during this project as per the plan below with signage for directions to designated crossing points.

Ferst Drive will go down to one lane for a period of 2 days during the project with flaggers to facilitate vehicles.

The construction area will remain fenced with access only to emergency personnel and scheduled deliveries.
