The Georgia Tech Career Center, formerly the Center for Career Discovery & Development, provides quality career education for every student. Their model encompasses three components: 1. Career Preparation includes career exploration, programming, advising, and securing a career path; 2. Career Experience manifests primarily as co-op, internships, and related experiential education; and 3. Career Connections are facilitated through career fairs, interviews, networking events, and related programs. Their team partners across campus, and around the globe, with students, employers, faculty, and alumni to support students.
Under the leadership of new director James Barricelli, the Career Center is making changes to ensure that every Georgia Tech student has the resources needed to become career-ready. This fall they are offering a number of great workshops hosted by Career Center staff, alumni, corporate partners, and organizations across campus.
The center has also shifted to hosting their Fall All-Majors Career Fair virtually, to ensure that all students and employers can attend safely. The fair, on September 21-22, is open to all Georgia Tech students and alumni.
The Georgia Tech Career Center has so much more to offer, so see what the all new Career Center can do for your student and connect with them on LinkedIn and Instagram.
