Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering’s Joint Program with Tokyo Tech Funded by JSPS for 7 Years

The Woodruff School or Mechanical Engineering’s joint program on doctoral research and education program, “InfoSyEnergy” (synergy of “Informatics x Systems x Energy,“ led by Tokyo Tech, was funded by the JSPS (Japan Society for Promotion of Science) for 7 years. The significant funding level will benefit Tech students and faculty through supporting research collaborations, including short-term and long-term research visits and participation in professional meetings, workshops, and overseas internships in this emerging area. 

Andrei Federov, Associate Chair for Graduate Studies, Rae S. and Frank H. Neely Chair, will represent Georgia Tech as an International Advisor to the program.
