There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

You’re invited to join the Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society at Georgia Tech! All majors are welcome; all you need is an interest in chemistry!
What do we do?
SAACS is an academic organization at Georgia Tech dedicated to facilitating interest in chemistry, coordinating student-faculty interactions, and providing guidance for future career paths.
Our most popular activity is our “dinner with a professor” program. Once a month, a small group of students will get to spend an evening with a professor in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry – asking any questions they may have about the professor’s research and experiences. These will be conducted over BlueJeans.
During the school year, we also host several high school and campus outreach events, professional development workshops, community service activities, and fun activities involving chemistry!
How do I join?
Come to meetings! We hold BlueJeans meetings at 11 AM every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, starting on Aug. 25! The first meeting will be an information session, and we’ll also have some chemistry-themed trivia!
