There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Dear Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts,
As dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, I extend a warm welcome to all of our students, staff, and faculty as we begin this new semester together. I want to especially welcome our new students, who are just beginning their educational journey at Georgia Tech. I would also like to welcome our College’s new tenure-track faculty.
I am excited to embark with you all on this fresh opportunity to achieve our individual and collective goals, to extend knowledge, and to help improve the human condition for all people. I know that this semester begins differently than others in the past and is draped in a sense of uncertainty. But do not let these challenges obscure your view or impede you on your path to achieving your goals. As Barbara Jordan, the pioneering lawyer, politician, and Civil Rights Movement leader said, “For all of its uncertainty, we cannot flee the future.” We must instead move confidently forward into that future. Dedicate yourself to your work and studies, but also take time to care for yourselves. And always, do your part to help keep our campus community healthy and safe.
I am excited to see what we can do together these next few months. So, welcome, Yellow Jackets.
Best regards,
Kaye
