HSOC PhD student Alejandra Ruiz Leon has co-authored a book, "A Ciencia Cierta," on the COVID-19 pandemic with two other Peruvian scientists. The book gathers perspectives about the pandemic, and Alejandra's portion focuses on the the history of the coronavirus and how we have changed our vision of the role of viruses in history.

The book is published by Penguin Random House and is currently available in a Spanish digital version. This is Alejandra's first publication.
