R is a free, open source statistical analysis software package that is commonly used in research environments for data analysis and visualization. In this online hands-on workshop participants will learn the basics of how to get started with the R Studio environment, including working with sample data to perform introductory statistical analysis and basic data visualization.

The session is geared towards those with minimal or no experience using the R software package although basic understanding of statistical concepts such as median and correlation is recommended. Participants are also welcome to bring their own research data sets and statistical challenges for discussion at the end of the session.

There is no cost for this online workshop but this is ONLINE ONLY and will require that participants register for a free R Studio Cloud account here:
