Associate Professor, Matthew Oliver, has been selected for the 2020-2021 Emerging Leaders Program Cohort.
The Emerging Leaders Program was started in 2016 and is designed for associate and full professors who have attained tenure. The program is a collaboration between the Office of the Provost, the Institute for Leadership and Social Impact, and the Office of Graduate Education and Faculty Development.
Oliver’s research interests focus primarily on the regulation of energy resources and energy infrastructure, particularly natural gas markets and interstate pipelines. His most recently published paper is how the “Market Effects of Renewable Energy Penetration” Oliver also serves as the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the School.
"I am proud to represent the School of Economics in this year's ELP cohort. I look forward to what promises to be a rewarding experience with such outstanding faculty members from around Georgia Tech,” said Oliver.
