Economics alumnus Nicholas Pinto has been awarded a Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship.
Pinto earned a B.S. in Economics and in Math in 2019. He is currently working toward a Master’s in Education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania with the fellowship certification.
The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship seeks to attract talented, committed individuals with backgrounds in the STEM fields—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—into teaching in high-need secondary schools in Pennsylvania.
“I look forward to blending the content knowledge that I acquired at Georgia Tech with the pedagogy I will develop at West Chester in order to deliver exceptional experiences to secondary students in Philadelphia,” said Pinto.
Congratulations to Nicholas on this wonderful step forward in his studies!
