FLAS Globe PhotoFLAS Fellowships assist graduate students in achieving competency in selected foreign languages in combination with international and area studies coursework. FLAS Fellowships are available for the less commonly taught languages of Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Persian/Farsi, Portuguese, Russian, and Swahili. Funding for advanced French, German, and Spanish languages may be available ONLY for GRADUATE students at an advanced level.
Attending a virtual information session will help you understand the application requirements, the selection process, the award details, and the fellowship requirements.
This information session is open to graduate students, as well as those applying for admission into graduate programs.
Registration is required.
