There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Now, as the prospect of returning students, faculty, and staff draws closer, it is important to remember that a new set of health and safety guidelines will be in place across campus. Some of them involve the cleaning of offices and workspaces every day — upon arrival and again when departing. Here are some tips.
*Be sure to follow the usage directions for all disinfectants.
Environmental Health and Safety is providing the following for the remainder of 2020. Work with your building manager to place an order.

The AWARE program (Actively Working to Achieve Resource Efficiency) is now standard across campus and requires workspace occupants to empty their own deskside trash and recycling.
Moving forward, custodians will no longer be servicing deskside office waste containers. This transition will allow our custodial teams to spend more time disinfecting buildings to protect our campus community and to help Georgia Tech reach its zero-waste goals.
