No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Each student is responsible for submitting their immunization records to Stamps Health Services. Information about immunization requirements is located on your student’s admissions checklist. Students can download the required forms at health.gatech.edu and take them to their healthcare provider for their history, then submit them on the Patient Portal where they will be reviewed by staff.
Some families may prefer to take care of this with their insurance and providers so they are covered. For students who are getting insurance through Georgia Tech, there is coverage for testing and immunizations in our Student Health Insurance Plan. We are happy to assist any student who wants to complete their immunizations through Stamps Health Services.
For those who can’t complete the requirements online, there is an option to complete them in person during the Week of Welcome, August 10 – 14.
There are deadlines based on your student’s last name in June and July to submit this information; however, we understand availability of healthcare providers may be limited and we are willing to work with students to accommodate them.
Immunization requirements are only necessary for students taking classes on campus, they are currently not required for summer.
