You have studied throughout the night; worked on countless papers and projects; sweated over exams; laughed, cried and everything in between. To this we say congratulations and a hearty thank you! You made it! You are a Georgia Institute of Technology graduate!

What I learned working with conference services: Some things I’ve learned from working at conference services would be being flexible, communicating clearly, and thinking on your feet. A lot of the time you’ll be faced with unique issues and you need to be able to problem solve on the fly and communicate effectively to your coworkers and to customers.
Other Involvement at Georgia Tech: I was involved with the ATL Filipino Student Association, Movement As One Dance Company, and the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers. I also served as a Teaching Assistant for a BMED design class.
Favorite Georgia Tech Memory: My favorite memory at GT was probably joining a dance group, meeting a lot of people who were also first time dancers, competing in a dance competition for the first time, and winning first place!
Advice to Incoming First-Year Students: My advice to incoming freshman would be to know when to take a break and relax! Get involved in something you love and are passionate about, meet new people, and make good friends. It’s important to have friends who are willing to support and lift each other up!
