There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Georgia Tech Arts, in collaboration with Georgia Tech Health Initiatives, has created a virtual MURAL for students, where they are free to share their thoughts, advice, photos, and artwork around different prompts. In this space, students have free creative expression and can add sticky notes, text, freeform doodles, stock images, videos, and upload photos as well. They can collaborate and create in real-time with their fellow classmates.

There's no need to register to get started with MURAL. Below are the upcoming prompts with a new MURAL space launching each week through the end of the semester.

Week 1: What does self-care mean to you and what are some methods you are currently utilizing to promote self-care?

Visit Self-care MURAL

Week 2: What is your favorite quote or power words that keep you motivated in adversity?

Visit Motivation MURAL

Week 3: Please share any tips that you have found beneficial in managing your stress before finals.

Visit Finals MURAL

All three MURAL spaces will remain open through May 5, 2020.

Here's a little tutorial video with some tricks for unlocking the different features of MURAL.

*We remind students that they must adhere to Georgia Tech policies for student conduct when creating and sharing content. Also, please think of this as a public space and be careful about not sharing any personally identifiable information.
