The heavy toll that COVID-19 imposes on our communities extends well beyond our health and healthcare systems. To learn how the virus impacts our economy watch with us a webinar provided by NEED (National Economic Education Delegation). In this Webinar, Scott Baier, the Chair of the Clemson Department of Economics discusses the transmission mechanisms of the virus into the economy, particularly vulnerable industries and workers, and the efficacy of government economic policies designed to ameliorate the economic impact. Click the following links to view the webinar or download the slides. Our very own Associate Professor, Tibor Besedes, serves on the board of NEED.
