U.S. News & World Report has ranked the Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Public Policy’s graduate program among the top 20% in the country for 2021.In its most recent rankings, released March 17, the magazine placed the School’s overall graduate program 45th of the 275 programs it ranked.

Among specific policy concentrations, the School’s energy and environmental policy program ranked 12th in the country, and the policy analysis and evaluation concentration ranked 24th among similar programs.

“These are strong rankings that reflect our stature as a top-tier public policy program,” said Kaye Husbands Fealing, the School’s chair and incoming dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, which houses the School of Public Policy. “What they don’t necessarily reveal are the innumerable benefits afforded our students by studying public policy at a world-class school ranked by U.S. News as one of the most innovative in the nation and also among the nation’s top five public universities.”

The School’s graduate program offers a Master of Science in Public Policy in six concentrations: energy and environmental policy; information and communications policy; science and technology policy; urban and regional economic development policy; policy analysis and evaluation; and public management.

Students also may pursue a Master of Science in Cybersecurity with a policy focus, the Master of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Management, or a dual masters degree in Public Policy and City and Regional Planning in conjunction with the College of Design.

The School also offers a doctoral degree and a bachelor’s in public policy.
