There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Over the past few weeks I have had several productive conversations with various students and student groups. I want to thank each of those people for making time to talk with me and share your concerns. One of the most prevalent concerns was a lack of transparency. In an effort to offer more clarity and insight into our work to improve the processes and environments that impact our students, I am going to post a weekly update on our website.
Below are some of the things we are working on with dates for estimated time of delivery:
June 2020: Contracting extra help to close all current and overdue workorders
July 2020: Conducting a complete Housing Master Plan
September 2020: Conducting a comprehensive renovation plan for East Campus Housing
Fall 2020: Implementing a student facing interface for housing maintenance work requests
