Summaries

Summary Sentence: Researchers and professors are invited to provide feedback regarding what data will be collected and shared from the EcoCommons site, opening in June.

Full Summary: Join this 1 hour session to share how you would like to use data collected on the newest portion of the EcoCommons project. Please be sure to RSVP as space is limited!

Join this Discovery Session to provide your feedback on what data points should be collected at the new EcoCommons site.

The 8 acre section of the EcoCommons currently under construction is planned to include multiple sensors to collect data such as temperature and soil moisture, among other things. We would like to make this data available to the Georgia Tech research and academic communities. Your feedback at the Discovery Session will help inform our plans for data collection and accessibility.

The EcoCommons is a planned Georgia Tech landscape that will mimic piedmont habitats. The landscape will be designed to provide increased ecosystem services and reduce maintenance costs, (and associated environmental impacts), compared to traditional university landscapes.
