During its annual Celebrating Teaching Day, the Center for Teaching and Learning will honor third-year Brittain Fellow Dr. Nick Sturm. The Student Recognition of Excellence Award: Class of 1934 Award is presented to faculty who receive high scores on their student evaluations, as well as have a high student response rate.

Sturm's 2019 classes rated him high enough to be selected as one of only 40 faculty members to receive this year's award. To read about Sturm's recent classes, please visit the TECHStyle blog, where he has contributed several articles about his teaching, including essays on student podcasts, using archival materials in his classes, and collaborating with Serve-Learn-Sustain.

Congratulations, Nick!
