There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Abstract:
The objective of the proposed research is to explore and extract performance-critical system activity signatures from the electromagnetic side-channel of an embedded device for application profiling and monitoring non-intrusively. Specifically, the first objective of the proposed research is to extract memory access features and profile the memory subsystem completely externally. The second objective of the proposed research is to identify signatures of asynchronous system events (interrupts and exceptions) and develop a system profiler. The third objective of the proposed research is to achieve application fingerprinting and monitoring using the identified signatures of system activity.
