2020 Theme: Advancing the Vision for UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Education, Rsearch and Community Engagement This signature Atlanta Global Stuies Center (AGSC) event fosters collaboration among institutions of higher education, the public and the community, and the k-12 sector in the Atlanta region and beyond. Register online here. Thursday, April 23: A kick-off event including an “Emerging Global Issues Forum” and keynote presentation, a “Global Careers Panel” for students, and a networking reception. Location: GSU’s College of Law, Park Place. 

Friday, April 24:  Parallel sessions featuring topics in global collaborative education and research, global economic development, political instability and conflict, human trafficking, peace education, climate crisis/climate action, urban water crisis, and international education and virtual exchange. Location: GSU’s College of Law, Park Place. 

Saturday, April 25: A dedicated professional development workshop for K-12 educators. Location: GSU’s Indian Creek Lodge, Dekalb County.
