There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The Community Garden committee runs the Community Garden at Georgia Tech and volunteers with other Atlanta environmental organizations. You can find the community garden on the east wall of the Instructional Center! Some of the events we host/attend throughout the year include garden workdays (all levels welcome), Trees Atlanta volunteering, de-stress yoga, and sustainable DIY-events.
Students Organizing for Sustainability is the highest governing authority at the Georgia Tech Community Garden.
Garden plots are available for all GT students to request and grow in groups or individually. Please email the Garden Director or any member of the SOS executive committee if you wish to request a plot and receive the GT Community Garden Plot Contract.
Breaking any rules, terms, and conditions is cause for exclusion from the garden and loss of your plot.
The protocol for any rule breaking is as follows:
1. You will receive one verbal warning from the garden manager.
2. If no response or correction has been made, you will receive written notice two weeks later.
3. In another two weeks, if no response or correction has been made, you will receive written final notification that you have forfeited your gardening privileges and plot.
4. You will be allowed to reapply for another garden plot only after one year, and only at the discretion of the garden manager.
