Auditions for our spring musical, A NEW BRAIN by William Finn and James Lapine, will be held on Monday, January 13th at DramaTech Theatre. Callbacks will be held January 14th. See audition information and show description below!

THE STORY: SHOW DESCRIPTION: When a neurotic, frustrated composer is confronted with a terminal illness, he finds comfort in the healing power of art. The show is in fact the William Finn’s autobiographical account of his own battle for life when he was afflicted with a seemingly terminal illness. As the central character, Gordon Michael Schwinn struggles to survive, he finds salvation in the healing power of art.

AUDITION FORMAT:
Auditions will consist of a 1 minute contemporary monologue and 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song in the style of the show. (Please provide your prepared/marked sheet music) **Initial auditions will be held Monday, and callbacks will be held Tuesday.**
