There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

This Spring GT Housing's Compost Program expands to east campus, recovering food waste and other compostable materials like napkins and pizza boxes.
Compost collection bins are located at the dumpster pads at three locations: Cloudman, Howell, and Hopkins. Every east campus resident has access to these compost bins in order to compost! Common areas such as kitchens will also have composting buckets available.
We recognize the negative environmental impacts associated with waste and are making a conscious effort to reduce them. We are working with CompostNow to take food waste and other organic compostables to a local site where they naturally break down into nutrient-rich soil. Thank you for your help in making this effort successful!
Questions? Please join us for an information session to learn about what can be composted in these bins and how to get started on Thursday, January 9th, at 7:30pm in Brittain Rec!
