Jack Allen is the Senior Director of Global Logistics for Cisco’s Supply Chain Operations organization.  In his role, Jack directs logistics activities, including external partners, that support all of Cisco’s product revenue and returns. This includes forward and reverse logistics (to include Circular Economy initiatives), export operations, transportation, warehousing, packaging engineering, customer logistics and logistics innovation practices.

As a Supply Chain thought-leader, Jack also focuses on creating innovative solutions, which drive cost savings, new logistics product offerings, and forward-thinking applications across Cisco’s logistics network and beyond.  He’s responsible for the development and management of two collaborative Supply Chain Innovation Centers (in Houston, Texas and Istanbul, Turkey).  His organization has helped transform Cisco, to align and lead industry best practices, while delivering the best customer experience.  Jack’s team manages an end-to-end ecosystem of global partners consisting of many of the best logistics corporations in the world. This Cisco network includes more than a dozen warehouses and ships hundreds of thousands of units, each day.

Jack currently serves on the board of Georgia Tech’s Supply Chain and Logistics Institute, and on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s Innovation & Technology Committee.  On a personal note, Jack and his wife also coach two robotics teams of young students (ages 6 to 13) as part of Cisco’s STEM initiative to increase diversity and participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math for school-age children.
