Please join us for a talk by Mark Callaway from Morgan Stanley. As Senior Portfolio Manager and Investing with Impact Director, Mark is responsible for developing Indigo Group’s asset allocation strategy, as well as designing and building portfolios that embrace ESG themes. Mark works closely with advisors and their clients to design and build the customized investment strategies that help them meet their goals. Mark has been building and managing investment portfolios for clients since 1989—and has been specifically focused on impact investments within the Morgan Stanley Portfolio Management platform since 2001. Mark has taught Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, and in 2015, he attended Oxford University’s Impact Investing executive program. In 2014, he was named one of Morgan Stanley’s Investing with Impact Champions. And in 2009, he co-founded the Southeast Corporate Sustainability Rankings, which ranks publicly traded companies according to standardized environmental, social and governance scores. Mark’s educational background includes an MBA from LaGrange College.

Outside of the office, Mark has held leadership positions on the boards of The University of Georgia, the Georgia Institute of Technology, Berry College, and LaGrange College. He’s involved with MountainfilmATL, does community outreach, and has served as a third generation trustee for two of the Callaway Family Foundations. Mark also created his own family foundation, The Morning Star Foundation, to help foster and pass on philanthropic values to his own children. Mark resides in Atlanta with his wife, Ansley, and son Anderson. His other four adult children are residents in the Atlanta area.
