There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Haiti 2020 symposium initiates a decade-long dialogue on Haiti’s post-earthquake reconstruction process. National and international partners in this symposium include CARE, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Institut Pasteur, the Emory Global Health Institute, and Haitian counterparts. This diverse panel will share perspectives on emerging needs and strategies for responding to evolving challenges of disease surveillance, water santiation, and post-traumatic stress.
This event is being offered as part of “France-Atlanta 2010 – Together Towards Innovation”, a series of twenty separate events covering France-US collaborations in science, business, humanitarian efforts and the arts. This is jointly sponsored by Georgia Tech and the Consulate General of France.
