There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This event was created by the college's Student Advisory Board as a way of helping students test their fit as a Liberal Arts student at Georgia Tech. This event has been such a success that the college has made Shadow Day an annual event. Shadow Day is produced by Elizabeth Miller, Director of Enrollment and Student Affairs and the college's Student Advisory Board.
We want to emphasize that there is no other program like Shadow Day at Georgia Tech. While there are other visitation programs offered at Georgia Tech, the Shadow Day event is unique. Our focus is about providing you an inside look into your major and life as a Liberal Arts student at Georgia Tech. The entire day you will be surrounded by Liberal Arts students, faculty, and staff eager to answer your questions and to make your visit as productive and worthwhile as possible. If you are traveling from out-of-state and want more than a day's worth of activities, call us and we can work with you to plan a schedule.
