There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Yuz Aleshkovsky is a living legend, a poet, song-writer and dissident, whose
inimitable songs quickly became urban folklore, a brilliant prose
author. He will give a concert performing his songs, reading poetry and talking with the audience. The event is co-sponsored by Emory Russian Program and REES and the
Georgia Tech Critical Languages Song Project (School of Modern
Languages).
Admission and parking are free. Students or others interested in
taking advantage of free van transportation to Emory should write to
