Building Construction undergraduate students Brianna Holcomb and Roya Agharahimi were part of the winning team in the 2010 Associate General Contractor’s shadow student competition and received the award for best presentation in October. The competition, held in Birmingham, Alabama, allowed students to collaborate with peers from Auburn University and the University of Florida's Building Construction Programs heavy civil engineering project. Ms. Holcomb and Ms. Agharahimi are sophomores in the School of Building Construction.
Region 2 of ASC includes 17 universities in the Southeastern United States. The Associated School of Construction is the professional association for the development and advancement of construction education, where the sharing of ideas and knowledge inspires, guides and promotes excellence in curricula, teaching, research and service.
