The ITU-Academia Partnership Meetingis December 2-3 and will focus on debates around digital transformation and required skill sets, the role of universities in shaping the digital agenda, as well as challenges academic institutions are facing in moving towards being 21st-century universities. Register for the ITU-Academia Partnership Meeting  ITU Kaleidoscope 2019: ICT for Health – Networks, standards and innovation, December 4-6, is organized in collaboration with WHO and technically co-sponsored by the IEEE and IEEE ComSoc, and The Lancet Digital Health. The conference will highlight ICTs’ contribution to innovation in healthcare delivery and medicine, as well as the demands that such innovation will place on ICT networks and supporting technical standards. Authors of outstanding papers may also be invited to contribute to ITU’s standardization work for e-health, work that supports the interoperability of e-health systems, safeguards security and privacy, and reduces the cost of devices through economies of scale. View the full conference program and register for this event on the ITU Kaleidoscope website.
