There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dr. King often spoke of the notion of the beloved community as a way of transforming people and relationships and creating communities grounded in reconciliation, friendship, and human dignity. The Department of Housing and Residence Life at Georgia Tech will honor this ideal by celebrating residents, faculty, and staff who have contributed to building community throughout our residential campus. We will also discuss service and activism in the current social climate. The event will feature a panel discussion and a video presentation. Attendees will answer the question: “In the fierceness of now, how can you contribute to making the idea of the beloved community a reality?”
