There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Title: Fast Algorithms for Sampled Multiband Signals
Committee:
Dr. Davenport, Advisor
Dr. McClellan, Chair
Dr. Romberg
Abstract:
The objective of the proposed research is to use theory from linear algebra to develop fast algorithms for working with sampled multiband signals. This research focuses on three aims: (i) develop fast algorithms for common tasks involving the Slepian basis, (ii) develop a fast algorithm to reconstruct a multiband signal from nonuniform samples, and (iii) develop a fast algorithm to recover a multiband signal from compressed measurements.
