The inaugural Budapest Study Abroad Program (Summer 2011) offers interested students the opportunity to gain insight into global civil society, to learn about the managerial, economic and legal environments in which non-profits and NGO’s operate, and to make a positive impact by working closely with a non-profit organization in Budapest, Hungary.
During the six-week program, students earn nine (9) valuable management credits through the combination of lectures, case studies, readings, guest speakers and direct engagement with a Budapest-based organization.
The Budapest experience will develop students’ ability to make a positive contribution to organizations dedicated to creating social value and addressing the needs of society. Whether students’ future plans involve starting or working for a non-profit, social business or for-profit company, this program will provide them with theoretical and experiential knowledge of the international social sector.
