There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

The holidays can be stressful, especially for many international and out-of-state students who are unable to travel to their homes. But Georgia Tech’s Student Government Association (SGA) has a solution.
The SGA facilitates a program called Home for the Holidays, where Georgia families may volunteer to host a student for a Thanksgiving meal. Host families and students come together to celebrate and enjoy the holiday with their fellow Yellow Jackets.
If you would like to host a student, or if you are a student in need of a host for Thanksgiving, click here. The application deadline is Nov. 15. If you have questions, email undergraduate SGA’s chief of staff, Alice Francis, at acfrancis@gatech.edu.
