There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Spring 2020 Campus Housing Application remains open this month for new students or returning students who are not residing on campus this fall. All students who apply before November 13, 2019, are eligible to participate in the self-assignment process. Self-assignment gives students the opportunity to select their own room. Those who choose not to participate in this process will be assigned by our staff. The application, self-assignment steps, and room and roommate info can be accessed through “My Housing” on the Georgia Tech Housing website, housing.gatech.edu. The Spring 2020 Housing application will remain open after self-assignment, also. If your student has not yet applied – it’s not too late!
If a room change is desired, students currently living on-campus can do this themselves using Room Swap. They may also submit an Administrative Room Change request. Room Switch Day is Sunday, December 15, 2020. Incoming students for Spring 2020 are encouraged to complete room changes prior to January move-in, Sunday, January 5, 2020. Room Swap and Administrative Room Change are services available in My Housing.
Current residents are not required to move out of their residence hall during the semester break in December if they plan to reside on campus in the spring; however, please note the following dates before making travel arrangements:
