The purpose of this collaborative event is to identify concrete projects to strengthen global expertise, cross-cultural communication, and advanced language competence of service to the public and private sectors in partnership with higher education and the K-12 sector and devise actionable plans to achieve them:
- Understand corporate and non-profit needs in professional and executive education
- Design and launch impactful internships and experiential learning opportunities
- Strengthen the Atlanta region pipeline of language learners, heritage population, and international populations in service of global career paths
- Garner public and private support to strengthen these priorities across K-12, community colleges, and universities at the local and state levels, including transformative agenda setting and thought leadership
