9:00-11:-00 a.m. Action Plan Development and Discussion The purpose of this collaborative event is to identify concrete projects to strengthen global expertise, cross-cultural communication, and advanced language competence of service to the public and private sectors in partnership with higher education and the K-12 sector and devise actionable plans to achieve them:
- Understand corporate and non-profit needs in professional and executive education 
- Design and launch impactful internships and experiential learning opportunities
- Strengthen the Atlanta region pipeline of language learners, heritage population, and international populations in service of global career paths 
- Garner public and private support to strengthen these priorities across K-12, community colleges, and universities at the local and state levels, including transformative agenda setting and thought leadership Please see the White Paper for further information.  The GAcGEAR is coordinated by the Atlanta Global Studies Center (AGSC)
