Judy Curry Talks Climate Change to the U.S. House

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. Judith Curry, chair and professor in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, offered her testimony before the House Committee on Science and Technology yesterday. Curry spoke about how a potential change in the earth's climate may have many effects, some beneficial to people of certain regions and some catastrophic. She urged that climate scientists need to engage with citizen scientists, social scientists and engineers to confront the challenges that may be ahead.
