There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Please join the Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy for a discussion with Admiral Sandy Winnefeld, USN, Retired, on his recent publication “A Commonsense Policy for Avoiding a Disastrous Nuclear Decision,” which advocates that the U.S. should respond to an enemy attack by moving to a decide-under-attack option. Joining Admiral Winnefeld is Rachel Whitlark, an assistant professor at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. Whitlark will provide remarks based on her recently published article “Should Presidential Command Over Nuclear Launch Have Limitations? In a Word, No.” The event will be moderated by Jenna Jordan, associate professor at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs.
